Winter Fun at Nibco Water and Ice Park
Are you looking for a way to enjoy the great outdoors this winter? Maybe you have kids that need to burn some energy. Or, maybe you are looking for a unique and fun date night with your significant other. Going ice skating at Nibco Water and Ice Park might be the perfect solution!
Ice Skating
Nibco Water and Ice park is made up of a round ice rink that connects to a path of ice through trees and bushes that skaters can skate around. There is a refrigeration system so that the park can remain open even when it’s not so cold. They have a Zamboni machine that is used on the regular so that the ice is nice and smooth. There is also a nice warming house area where you borrow the skates and there is a small concession stand where drinks and snacks can be purchased. There are tables outside where you can rest or watch your kids skate.

Cost to Skate at Nibco Water and Ice Park
Ice Skating at Nibco is seriously a great deal. The cost is free for ages 2 and under. $5 for ages 3-adult. Skate rental is free! In my opinion, $20 for 3 kids and myself to have so much fun was a steal!
Fun for all ages
You might be concerned that you or your young ones don’t know how to skate. Do not fear- you can grab one of these “walker” like contraptions to help you keep your balance as you learn to skate. Nibco is fun for skaters of all skill levels. There are benches situated all around the path if you need to take a break or just want to watch the people skate by.
I recently took two of my kids and a friend to Nibco on Martin Luther King Day. It was so exhilarating to get outside and breathe in some fresh air. The kids had fun chasing each other on skates and perfecting their skills. I got a pretty solid workout by skating around the path! I would definitely recommend checking out the Nibco Water and Ice Park and enjoy what winter has to offer!
