Island Hopping on a Caribbean Cruise
Island hopping on a cruise…the best way to get a taste of the culture and vibe of many islands while floating on the sea in your mobile hotel. Having delicious dinners where you can try new foods with no consequence if you don’t like them. Being entertained on a nightly basis by singers, comedians, theater productions, games, gambling, ice skating, art auctions, and dance parties. There is literally something for everyone on a cruise. I would highly recommend island hopping via a cruise to anyone! Our family took a 7 day cruise on the Royal Caribbean ship Explorer of the Seas. It was my son Austin’s senior year spring break…

Wonderful Winter Trip to Harbor Springs Michigan
Recently we headed up north for a wonderful winter trip to Harbor Springs, Michigan with friends. This year we went a little later in the year than we have in the past, and it was the best snow we have ever had. We went in mid February this year. This is our fourth trip with four other couples, and it is always a really great time with lots of winter activities, delicious food and drinks, games, and most importantly, laughs. It is a long weekend that we look forward to each year. Where to stay: Because we have a group of 10, it is always easier for us to rent…

Girls Weekend In New Buffalo
Women by nature are always putting others before themselves- families, jobs, etc. Sometimes, though, we ladies need to take a break to pamper ourselves and spend a weekend relaxing with our girlfriends. A few years ago, a group of close friends formed a book club. We meet about every 6 weeks and take turns picking books for the group. Well, our little book club decided to take it on the road to celebrate a couple of…

In recent years, Indianapolis has held the NCAA men’s and women’s final four, the Big 10 football championship, the men’s and women’s Big 10 basketball championships, and Olympic swimming trials.…

Why You Should Eat in an Igloo
Have you ever wondered what it might be like to grab a few beers and some dinner while being able to look up at the night sky even though it’s the dead of winter? I have! I can’t imagine anything better than looking up at the starry winter sky while snow flakes gently fall all around me- but not on my face or in my beer because I’m protected from the elements by a lovely igloo. When I saw that Goshen Brewing Co. was adding igloos to their seating I knew I should eat in an igloo. About Goshen Brewing Co. Goshen Brewing Co., also well known locally as GBCo.,…
